This post shall be really short. My book review showed up in The New Indian Express. A first.

No satire, (un)fortunately!

  1. Eric Alagan says:

    A hearty congratulations…Hugh Sinclair 🙂
Now, I know your name, even if it might be a pen name (which I don’t think it is).
Very very over the moon happy for you,
    Eric 🙂

    • HaLin says:

      Thank you, Eric! 🙂

But I must hasten to caution you. Though you are eyeing the author of the book, it is the author of the book review that bears the pseudonym, HaLin!

PS: Now, even though I’m a nobody, it feels a little iffy to have my cover blown!

  2. Eric Alagan says:

Ah, of course Hemant Sreeraman 🙂

    I sometimes behave like a premature child…

  3. Mira Jay says:

unfolding long folded eyes…. & I shall set a search
    Peace & Light

    • HaLin says:

I hope that unfolding long folded eyes (beautiful reference) helps the unseen become seen.

Glad to hear from you, Mira. Thank you for breaking my stupor (laziness) and reminding me that I need to hop over to your blog.

      • Mira Jay says:

well if your vanishing reason is laziness, mine’s not but I’m not receiving any notification from any blog I follow, so yesterday came upon an old comment and so reached you…& glad I did; you’ve been missed..
        Good day

      • HaLin says:

I had the exact problem till recently. Also, WordPress only let me log in on its whims. Both problems seem to be in hibernation, for now.

  4. Ankur Mithal says:

Congratulations Ha Lin (or is it Hugh, or Hemant?). Interesting to get a tiny peek behind the front we have been visualising while reading your posts.

  5. Sharmishtha says:

congratulations Hemant! let this be the first jewel in your crown!
